After the National Lockdown Regulations and Archdiocesan Regulations were updated to permit the limited attendance at the Public Celebration of Holy Mass our Parish resumed the Weekend Celebration of Holy Mass on 10 October 2020.
This was achieved through the phased re-opening of the Parish with attendance at Holy Mass divided into four groups rotating on a weekly basis.
After reviewing our Parish’s response to the pandemic I have decided that our Parish is ready to move to the next phase of the resumption of the public celebration of Holy Mass.
What’s changing as of this weekend (28/29 November 2020)?
- Attendance at Holy Mass will no longer be as per geographic groupings (Groups 1-4).
Parishioners from all areas of the Parish are welcome to attend any celebration of Holy Mass over the Weekend.
- It will no longer be required to “reserve” a place at Holy Mass in advance.
Parishioners are welcome to attend any celebration of Holy Mass without booking in advance.
COVID-19 Preventative Measures:
All Preventative measures will remain in place, i.e. Social Distancing, the distribution of Holy Communion remains on the hand only, masks are to be worn at all times when on church property, and, temperature check & Registration to be completed upon entering the church.
We will continue to limit the number of Parishioners in attendance to 90 Parishioners per celebration of Holy Mass.
Holy Mass is celebrated 17h00 on a Saturday and 10h00 on a Sunday (all areas/zones are welcome).
Holy Mass times for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be announced within the next 2 weeks.
